Question #1: If you’re aging and your black hair starts to go gray, can we call that a hair disease?
Question #2: If you’re aging and your skin starts to sag and wrinkle, can we call that a skin disease?
Question #3: If you’re aging and your bones start to naturally thin, should we automatically call that a bone disease by the name of Osteoporosis?
Obviously, the answer to the first two questions is “no.” However, the answer is, “no” to the third question as well. Just because your bones are a wee bit thinner than before doesn’t mean you have a disease any more than the absurd thought that you have a disease because your hair is graying and your skin is losing recoil.
There is a plethora of false information regarding bone density and osteoporosis. We’ll start with just a sneak peek:
Number 1: There is no way for you to accurately determine how much bone loss you’ve had, unless you had your bone density measured at its peak at some time during your 20’s.
Number 2: As we age, there is a normal thinning of the bones, just as there is a normal loss of natural hair color and loss of recoil to our skin.
Number 3: You do not want to retain old brittle bone, you want to build new, flexible, dynamic living tissue called bone.
Number 4: Milk doesn’t build strong bones, it weakens them. Milk doesn’t put calcium into the bones, it causes calcium to leach out of the bones. Milk doesn’t do a body good; it does a body harm.
I’ll be devoting the next several posts to things that you can do to naturally address bone density. Be prepared for a few surprises and in the meantime, pitch the milk.

During one of my presentations, an attendee mentioned that twice a week, he would endure day long headaches. Once they started, there was no stopping them. After some discussion, he decided to try using the Silver Shield liquid, one teaspoon, twice daily. He reported later that since then he hasn’t had any headaches, except on that one day when he forgot to take his silver.

Part Three of my sister Jayne’s, testimony of healing.
Struggling with never being good enough or doing enough, always feeling as though she was experiencing life from the outside looking in, she was sure that the pervasive shame and guilt she felt was deserved. As God so often does, he waits to reveal certain truths to us until we are able to bear them. So it was that day, when my sister walked into the kitchen and made a statement that left us both speechless, as it hung in the air: “I just remembered something from when I was about two.”
A buried memory; erupting emotions; tumbling thoughts.
It’s been nine months since that moment.
As devastating as the memory was, the healing has been miraculous. Out of the ashes of near death and years of heartache, a new person has been born out of the adversity. Jayne glows and radiates hope, love, and a peaceful spirit, with a sincere and genuine empathy for others who struggle with pain, despair and grief. She now walks as one not only redeemed, but as one justified and sanctified, relentless in her desire to share the truth of the Word of God while exposing the lies of the adversary.
We pray (and we really do pray this) that you are blessed with shouts of joy, over the intervening hand of God, rescuing you from the work of the evil one. May you experience a life of no longer fearing troubles because God has shown himself faithful in the past and trustworthy for your future. May you be blessed with experiencing your Father’s intervention at such a profound level that you are emotionally and spiritually secure, knowing that you can run to him in every need. He is your Strong Tower, today and forevermore.
In August of 2012, my aunt walked alongside of me at Covenant Hospital and said, “I just can’t see the gift in this.” Today, she can acknowledge that God has taken a very ugly circumstance and turned it into a beautiful gift for many.

- 1 Raw Beet, peeled and grated
- 1 Raw Apple, grated, no need to peel
- Raspberries, as many or as few as you like, fresh or frozen
- Maple Syrup to taste
Peel and grate the beet and apple. Add as many fresh or frozen raspberries as you like and sweeten to taste with a bit of maple syrup. I have also made this without the raspberries and you could substitute other fruits such as strawberries or canned tangerines. Experiment and have fun.

- 1 15-ounce can organic garbanzo beans, drained (reserve liquid)
- 2 Tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup Tahini (or to taste)
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced (more or less to your taste preference)
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt (or to taste)
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil (or more as needed)
Combine garbanzo beans, lemon juice, tahini, garlic, and salt in food processor; purée until smooth. If hummus is too thick, add 1-2 tablespoons olive oil or reserved bean liquid.
I never follow the recipe anymore and just make it according to my mood and what tastes good. Add other spices or ingredients that you like such as dried or roasted red bell pepper, cucumber, cayenne, spinach or artichokes.
I also like to add minced onion, celery and chopped olives, spread it on tortillas, roll them, chill them and then slice them into spirals for an appetizer.

Requiring care 24 hours of the day, my sister Jayne, came to live with us after being in ICU for a week. When released from the hospital, her sugar levels were over 400, her speech slurred, her gait peculiar, her strength non-existent.
Her job was to rest, recover, release. While in the hospital, Satan came to taunt her in the dark hours of night. Those hours were redeemed, taken back by God and it was now the Holy Spirit who came to her in the quiet of the night watches.
On several occasions she awoke at 3 am, receiving comfort and sensing the Holy Spirit speaking to her heart. On the first occasion, the message was clear:
- I am your Heavenly Father and I am to be the master of your life. You can’t serve me and everyone else, but must seek to follow my desires for your life. Listen to me, follow my path. Do it my way and in my timing.
Simple, yet difficult; especially if you have been a people pleaser your whole life. Then another night and another 3 am stirring:
- Your only job is to take care of yourself. Tend to your spiritual, emotional and physical needs. You cannot help others if you don’t take care of yourself.
We worked diligently and repeatedly on the truth that she had value just in being, rather than in her “doing.” Walking to the dinner table was often the feat of the day. Each day was a reminder that just her presence was an encouragement to others. Tears would flow as she began to grasp the validity of her value in being. And then another message:
- Surrender your loved ones and their situations to me. I will do battle with them and for them.
A falsehood uncovered. As a mother and wife, she wasn’t responsible for the choices of others. She could let go; she was released from a mission that wasn’t hers to begin with. Then yet another 3 am message:
- Be content with where you are at.
Stripped of everything worldly by which we judge ourselves, the directive was to be still. The cloud by day, the fire by night, had settled over our home as to where she was to be and is to be for this undetermined season.
We wait; with great expectations. Wherever you may find yourself, be still and know that he is God.

I met him six years ago. Walking to a local restaurant, to finalize some business plans, he had to ask me to slow down so that he could breathe and walk at the same time. Chewing gum while walking and breathing was obviously out of the question.
At the age of 28, he was diagnosed with irreversible multiple chronic lung disease by Dr. Thomas Shipley, MD and Robert A. Miller, MD of Medical Clinic Foundation and Aultman Hospital. For decades a normal year was just worse than the year before, with at least one hospitalization for lung infection requiring both Prednisone and antibiotics. Bob shared, “A very quantifiable thing for me was each year on the same exact camping weekend I could swing the axe fewer swings than the year before until at age 59, all swinging was done.”
We met again in the spring of 2011, doing a presentation together in the Chicago area. Again, while walking, a high risk activity for him, we passed through the hallway leading to the pool area and the chlorine in the air sent Bob into a respiratory crisis.
Getting him to a place where he could nebulize his silver, I placed his feet on my Electro Reflexology Energizer (ERE) from H T E. Within seconds, his face registered disbelief as he uttered, “I can feel my lungs opening up.” After this incidence, the ERE became part of his daily routine.
July of 2012, after turning 64 years of age, Bob visited his family doctor for an annual exam and to review notes from his visit to Dr. Randal Harris, MD, lung specialist, who had just repeated the full pulmonary function study on Bob he did five years previous. Bob recalled the moment: “My doctor mentioned she had gotten a call from Dr. Harris, and I got that cold feeling. You know the one you get just before you faint? Dr. Harris had called to say that my lungs had improved and that they should have gotten worse.”
Bob decided to conduct his own test to verify the reliability of the doctor’s assessment. “Alone, I headed to the campground and began chopping wood; something I hadn’t been able to do for 5 years. God answers prayers. He put me together with people like Carla in Michigan and Dan and Ann in Salem Ohio, who shared things that helped. It has now been close to 2 years since I have been to the Emergency Room, needed Prednisone or antibiotics.”
February of 2013, Bob and I met for a business event and I conducted my own test. While exiting a restaurant I purposefully engaged him in high risk activity and found that Bob was able to walk, talk, and chew the gum I offered, all at the same time, without a respiratory crisis. The fact that he tripped, well, we’re working on that. He just started GO GREENS FROM H T E at 3 scoops a day. Maybe that will help.

A detox bath from the spice shelf; perfect for colds, sinus infections, or when trying to circumvent them. Great for those times when you’re chilled to the bone, or desire to make detoxing part of your preventative maintenance program.
Recipe for Detox Bath
- 1 Tablespoon Cayenne Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Ginger Root Powder
- Yarrow Tea
Put Cayenne and Ginger into bath water that is as hot as you can tolerate (about 95 – 100 degrees) and soak for 20 minutes, while drinking plain water as well as Yarrow Tea. Yarrow Tea will help you to perspire as well as open up the pores in addition to its many other benefits. Drink plain water before, during and after the detox bath to replenish the fluids you will lose from sweating. After 20 minutes, drain water, rinse with fresh water and climb into bed. Rinse off spices with a quick shower, however if you are already weak and perhaps a bit dehydrated, then remain sitting in the tub and pour fresh water over your body to rinse off the spices which can cause skin irritation if left intact.
Variations:
- For children and those with sensitive skin, you may want to try Dry Mustard. If that is well tolerated, then consider adding Ginger, and then Cayenne.
- 1 cup of Sea Salt or Epsom Salts can help to draw out impurities
- 1 – 2 cups of Baking Soda added to water can also draw out toxins and soothe skin
Warning
Avoid taking hot baths with detoxing agents if you suffer from diabetes, hypertension or heart disease. Consult your healthcare practitioner before doing any form of detox.

Sleep is crucial to well being and good looks. But how many people realize some of the symptoms associated with poor sleep or lack of it, lifestyle habits that impede a good night’s rest, and the choices you have to correct the problem?
Just a few tidbits to remember:
- A group of healthy college students were allowed to get a maximum of 4 hours of sleep per night for a full week. By the end of the week, all tested positive for hypoglycemia or diabetes.
- Alcohol will initially sedate you and then approximately four hours later will irritate the brain and disrupt sleep
- Increased risk of high blood pressure can be related to lack of sleep or restless sleep
- Irregular heart beat can be directly related to lack of sleep
- Depression can be related to sleep deprivation; one can begat the other.
- Lack of sleep ages your skin due to the increase of cortisol production which breaks down collagen, which is necessary for the integrity of our joints, elasticity and resiliency of your skin. Beauty sleep is for real.
- Lack of sleep can cause weight gain due to excess cortisol production.
- Lack of sleep can impede your body building efforts because cortisol production inhibits the body building process; additionally, your muscles require sleep to recover and build.
Ideally, an individual will enjoy 7 to 8 hours of restorative, rejuvenating sleep each night. Here’s a few ways you can facilitate it.
- The Chi Machine can help to bring balance back to the Autonomic Nervous System. When ANS is out of balance, people often experience insomnia or excessive dreaming. Be sure to drink water before you Chi, as well as afterwards and then go directly to bed. Do not pass GO.
- Because the Chi Machine gives you a total body massage, the organs of the body are also being massaged, which may help them to work more effectively. Our bodies have approximately 65 hormones, which it makes or regulates, one of which is melatonin, which aids in restful sleep. We have many testimonies of people using the Chi and resolving sleep issues such as insomnia, sleep apnea, the inability to stop processing the day and correcting poor sleep patterns.
- When pain is keeping you awake at night, the combination of the Chi and the Hot House Domes may be necessary. We have several testimonies of individuals who were in a vicious cycle of not being able to sleep due to pain and the body unable to heal, partly due to lack of sleep. Add to this the depression of not feeling well, being exhausted, your bad mood, your spouse’s bad mood because of your bad mood and you have the makings of despair. With some, the E Power, ERE and/or the AlleviAider provided pain relief, thereby helping to stimulate overall healing processes and aiding deep sleep.
- Minerals and vitamins aid our quality of sleep. Low levels of calcium can cause insomnia. A deficiency of magnesium can cause shallow sleep and nervousness, impeding proper rest. Copper and iron affect sleep patterns, as well as tryptophan, a naturally occurring amino acid found in green leafy vegetables, not just turkey. The B vitamins aid in relaxing the body as well as energizing it. And wouldn’t you know, we can provide all of this with Go Greens. Because you are ingesting whole foods with Go Greens, you are assured that the body will have all the necessary trace minerals to aid the absorption and assimilation of these nutrients. It is available from me direct at wholesale with 77 ingredients to help you in a myriad of ways.
- A good night’s sleep is often impeded by light. It all begins with something the size of a pearl: the hypothalamus. It has many functions, one being the sleep-wake cycle. Here’s what’s happening:
Light or darkness is sensed by the retina of the eye.
Message gets relayed to the hypothalamus by the nervous system
And the hypothalamus chats with the pineal gland
Depending on whether it is sensing light or dark, the pineal gland responds regardless of what the clocks says.
If the retina senses darkness, the pineal gland will be stimulated to make and release melatonin. But if light is sensed, no such stimulation takes place.
so, lights out early on the computer and television.
- If you’d just rather try something that comes in a capsule , there are lots of options with Natures Sunshine Products:
- 5HTP to help with Sleep, Mood and Weight Loss.
- Energ V can help with better sleep at night and energy during the day
- Nutri-Calm is chuck full of B Vitamins which can help with sleep and energy
- Herbal Sleep is for those who fall asleep but wake up too early
- Valerian , Kava Kava, Nerve Control, Nervous Fatigue Formula, Catnip, are calming and promote relaxation
- Lavender Essential Oil, Roman Chamomile, Neroli, Beramot, Rose Bulgaria, Sandalwood Ylang Ylang, Sweet Marjoram and Mandarin, can all be beneficial.
- If Sleep Apnea is the issue consider Hawthorn Berries to increase oxygen to the head, Sinus Support if it is sinus related, Snor Ease if snoring is the issue. Co Q 10 at bedtime can help and Germaniun Essential Oil to oxygenate the cells.
A good night’s rest should be part of everyone’s health regime for healthy tomorrows and good looking people greeting us in the mirror.

There are many facets to this story. Consider this Part I of a glorious story of God’s faithfulness.
The day dawned bright and clear, of which my sister Jayne, a type II diabetic has no recollection.
By early afternoon, she had slipped into a state of delirium, pulling at her own hair. As family waited for the ambulance to arrive, her sugar soared to over 900 while her body temperature plummeted to 88 degrees and a diabetic coma ensued. With all appearing hopeless, veins collapsing, renal failure and four infections running rampant, the Emergency Room doctors finally breathed a sigh of relief, shocked that they were able to save her. God had brought her through a battle against an untimely death, on August 31, 2012.
Four evenings later, while in ICU, our mother and aunt slept soundly in her room while a battle of powers and principalities took place a second time. Jayne woke to a very heavy feeling, pressing in on her chest. As she lay there, one of Satan’s emissaries, taunted her saying, “You are unworthy. You are useless, of no good. God does not want you. You need to come over to the other side.” All the while the heaviness resting on her chest, suffocating her with lies. Attempting to proclaim her status in Jesus Christ, she had no need, for at that moment, she caught a flutter of movement off to the side. The Holy Spirit descended next to her speaking truth, defending and doing battle for her again. With great authority, the Holy Spirit proclaimed, “She is a child of God, covered in the blood of Jesus Christ. She is his daughter and she is worthy. Leave, leave now and never come back.” Instantly, the heaviness left and in its place a joy and peace filled her, which Jayne states, “no earthly words can describe.”
As we share her story, many others have come forward to share similar experiences. Satan is a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. He has no shame in coming at our weakest moment and using lies to advance his cause to kill, steal and destroy. Ready yourself for battle with TRUTH.
This is not the first time battle has been done for her, for you or me. “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called, Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6. Leaving the portals of heaven, he entered a dark and sinful world, so that he could be our Savior, our Redeemer, to give us victory over sin, death and the grave so that we may have the hope of eternal life.
